Dao Soft by Frigerio, a modular sofa that allows extreme compositional freedom in a geometric harmony of soft volumes that, in their visual simplicity, immediately invite you to experience calm and relaxation, tuning into the rhythm of your breathing.
Dao Soft is characterised by high backrests and seat elements padded with different densities of polyurethane and Cloud Foam, covered with Microflock quilting to offer full comfort and flexibility, giving life to configurations that range from the most classic and traditional to the most contemporary.
Central, corner and terminal elements, hammer armrests and modules with the most unusual shapes, such as chaise lounge and dormeuse, allow full customisation of the spaces.
Each module rests on a base, making its soft silhouette even lighter, apparently suspended. A proposal that expresses its sartorial soul in the precious “pinch” stitching that defines the aesthetics of the fabric or leather covering.

About the designer
Gordon Guillaumier
Maltese designer Gordon Guillaumier moved to Milan after studying in England and Switzerland, earning his degree in Industrial Design from IED Milan and later completing a master’s at Domus Academy. He worked with Studio Dordoni from 1993 to 2002 before establishing his own studio in Milan, focusing on product design, consultancy, and interior design. Stylistically, his projects showcase a pure, essential design that is often sober and minimalist. His approach follows a geometric, almost architectural grammar, seamlessly inhabiting spaces with elegance.
