Libelle armchair by Frigerio is a contemporary reimagining of mid-century elegance, drawing inspiration from the classic bergère chairs of the 1950s while adding a modern, laid-back sophistication.
Designed by the Buratti brothers, this piece blends the timeless charm of sinuous curves with an inviting, relaxed form, ideal for creating spaces where comfort and conviviality take centre stage. Its fluid, wing-like shape is inspired by the delicate curves of a dragonfly’s wings, evoking a sense of lightness and effortless grace. The molded structure enhances both the visual flow and ergonomic comfort, offering an indulgent seat that encourages relaxation in its generous proportions.
The Libelle armchair is available in a variety of rich materials, from soft, luxurious fabrics to sumptuous leathers, all carefully chosen to complement the chair’s smooth, sculptural lines.

Structure – metal padded with non-deformable polyurethane foam covered in synthetic fibre heat-bonded with velvet.
